Listening Circle: 'Space'
Our Listening Circle is a shared listening experience for people who love music — any music. It’s like a book club, but for songs. This time there’s a theme: ‘Space’.
Every last thursday of the month, we step out of our streaming bubbles to encounter music we might never have heard otherwise. Whether you’re a lifelong music nerd or just someone who wants to hear something new, you’re welcome.
Each participant brings one song that they feel is connected to the theme. We listen together on Koda’s sound system, giving each track our full attention. Afterward, we talk about what we heard: what moved us, surprised us, or stood out to us.
How it works:
* Pick a song, and bring it on vinyl, cd or usb (or make sure it can be streamed at Koda through Tidal or Youtube).
* The song can be max. 7 minutes long.
* All genres are welcome.
* We will ask you to introduce the song beforehand (which is optional).
* We listen to it together in silence, with the possibility for discussion afterwards.
* If you don’t want to bring a song and just want to come and listen, that’s also fine!
