Daydreaming w/ Fred Pierre
It’s time for a new edition of daydreaming (in the evening, because why not). This time, we have invited… Fred Pierre!
Who is Fred Pierre? He has traveled the globe and brought records with him from all corners of it. Fred always comes back to black rhythm and finds his groove in pure reggae, latin, jazz, house, hiphop and african music and moves from one genre to another. This set will be an expression of love for black culture and music. We’ll dream away and hit some rare grooves during a 4-hour musical trip.

Music is the shaper of dreams. If it resonates, it can send us into a state of wonder and inspiration in broad daylight. Visions, memories and thoughts flood our minds, creating an escape into a parallel reality. Once you sit down, close your eyes and really listen, music can open up new worlds.
Daydreaming is a recurring event at Koda where we invite selectors to take us on an extended listening trip. Long sets make it possible to go down different roads, and strengthen the emotional response.
