Join UpperBeat for an intimate afternoon of fun, experimental electronic music in a cosy setting.
In our view, electronic music should transcend nightlife. For us, it lives beyond that, in attentive listening, discovery and experiencing new sounds together in different spheres. With the mission of bringing people together through electronic music, each artist of the UpperBeat collective will share their own personal and diverse musical journey.
Starting with AIMER (@emerentianavb), a Rotterdam-based DJ, constantly exploring the edges of electronic music in search of that one track that “tickles the brain”. Drawn to groove-driven and progressive techno, her sets blend bouncy rhythms, trance-leaning layers and deep, rolling textures.
Followed by Rotterdam-based producer @ijsthee____ (aka Alan Boshoff). Known for playing a wide range of electronic genres, focusing on a punchy, swinging and smacky production style. With the drum rhythm as the focal point.
Closing is @minus.wav. Originally from İstanbul, now based in Rotterdam. He believes that his music shouldn’t be defined by genres, but by emotions. Growing up surrounded by electronic culture, he sees music as a space for community and creativity, shaped by shared experiences and emotional connections.
UpperBeat is for the curious music lovers. Everyone is free to experience the session in their own way, whether it’s sitting and listening or dancing!
