Open Koda
Need space? Every third Sunday of the month, Koda opens up for anyone to use. No programming, no scheduling, no expectations. Just a safe space for (sonic) appropriation.
Not everyone has access to spaces where to create or take refuge among music. We believe our cities need more fully open, creative free spaces.
OPEN KODA is about opening up our doors, and letting everyone that needs it come in, and take over.
Want to play your favourite record over our sound system? Read a book? Rehearse? Listen carefully to yours or others’ music? Write? Draw? Start an impromptu DJ or jam session? Dance your heart out on our carpet? Nerd out with other music lovers? Retreat? Experiment?
Everything is possible, it’s up to you. Entry is free, and always will be.
