Making Koda: Don’t Sit On Your Hands w/ BLIK Den Haag
SPALLIATO & BLIK present: DON’T SIT ON YOUR HANDS
The Hague‑based duo SPALLIATO will host a music‑and‑creative‑writing Sunday afternoon at Koda, built around a curated music program that jumps across genres.
Three music‑curated sections will flow into three prompts. While the focus is on creative writing, we welcome all forms of expression (doodle, sketch, draw, paint, embroider), just don’t sit on your hands. Basic materials are available, but if you have a specific medium or technique you’d love to use, please bring your own supplies. We will pair a unique slice of sound with a prompt, going through different genres and allowing music to kickstart your art (or try out something new).
No prior experience in anything is required, just some collective joy.

Mick and Jesse make up SPALLIATO (from the Italian sbagliato) – a “DJ duo mixed wrong, but the good way”. They blend everything from Italo‑disco to funk and beyond. Jesse brings his musician‑writer perspective; Mick adds his deep knowledge of music and art curation.
Mick & Jesse are also the initiators behind BLIK Den Haag, a cultural living‑room and podium that hosts a range of events across The Hague. This is a brand‑new try‑out, and we can’t wait to explore it with you.
